DOHA: Al Rayyan Municipality last month conducted 418 inspection visits, caught 46 violations, destroyed 53 slaughtered sheep found unfit for human consumption and collected fines totalling QR98,600.
Meanwhile, Umm Salal Municipality shut down a restaurant for 10 days in Al Kharaitiyat for preparing food in unhealthy conditions. Inspectors conducted 70 visits and destroyed 220kg of food. The Technical Monitoring Section conducted 67 visits and caught nine violations related to building permits and the public health section put stickers on 85 abandoned cars and received 17 complaints.
