Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) has announced the upcoming launch of its Summer 2026 Student Activity Centres, offering students a comprehensive educational and recreational programme designed to provide an enriching learning experience in a safe, engaging and motivating environment.
The summer activities will run from July 5 to August 3, 2026, with programmes taking place daily from 9am to 1pm in cooperation with a number of partners across the country.
Sharing the details on the X, the ministry aid that the initiative targets children and students aged 6 to 18 years, including students enrolled in government schools, Qatari students attending private schools, and students with disabilities.
To accommodate participants, activities will be hosted at several designated centres. For boys, programmes will be held at Khalifa Secondary School for Boys and Al Khor Secondary School for Boys. Girls’ activities will take place at Amna bint Wahab Secondary School for Girls and Al Khor Secondary School for Girls.
A dedicated centre for students with disabilities will be established at Al Hidaya School for Special Needs, Al Hilal Campus for Boys, ensuring inclusive participation and access to specialised programmes.
The ministry said registration will be conducted through the Maaref Public Services Portal, with the official registration opening date to be announced in the near future.
MoEHE noted that the summer centres aim to provide students with a balanced mix of educational, cultural and recreational activities that help develop their talents, strengthen their skills and encourage creativity during the summer break.
