DOHA: The Meteorology Department has forecast a rise in temperature tomorrow, reaching mid-40s degrees Celsius or more in central areas of the country.
The strong northwesterly winds that hit the country over the past two days are expected to subside today and could gather momentum again on Wednesday.
This is due to the impact of an extension of the low Indian monsoon that would affect the country between Wednesday and Friday, accompanied by strong northwesterly winds, the department said yesterday.
Maximum temperatures are expected to rise to mid-40s degrees over central areas tomorrow.
However, temperatures would drop to about 30 degrees Celsius over most areas on Wednesday and Thursday. The Peninsula
