Kiev: Former Russian MP Denis Voronenkov, who moved to Ukraine last year and is wanted by Russia for fraud, was shot dead in Kiev on Thursday, Ukrainian police said.
Kiev police chief Andriy Kryshchenko confirmed in televised comments that "the identity of the dead man has been established" as the former Communist lawmaker.
