Doha: The Ministry of Economy and Commerce, in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation, yesterday organised a blood donation campaign at its headquarters in Lusail to contribute to blood bank reserves.
A large number of employees participated in support of the noble humanitarian initiative. It comes within the framework of the ministry’s social responsibility efforts and embodies its humanitarian values, which lie at the core of a comprehensive strategy to achieve Qatar National Vision 2030, which focuses on promoting sustainable human development. The campaign generated a great deal of interest among male and female employees at the ministry who flocked to the mobile medical clinic. Donors expressed a positive response and showed awareness about the importance of donating blood and contributing to increasing blood bank reserves, praising the initiative to save the lives of many patients.The Peninsula
