Kalyan Jewellers set to debut in Qatari market in a grand style

DOHA: Kalyan Jewellers, West Asia’s emerging brand and one of the GCC’s most-trusted and jewellery majors, is making its debut in Qatar with an initial investment of QR200m.
The iconic brand is making its grand entry into the local market by opening seven showrooms in Doha on March 25 strategically located at Al Khor, Abu Hamour, Barwa Village, Al Gharafa, Al Rayyan, Asian Town, and HBK Signal. Global brand ambassador of Kalyan Jewellers and international film icon Amitabh Bachchan will make his maiden visit to Qatar as part of the launch. 
He will be accompanied by brand ambassadors and India’s popular film stars, Nagarjuna, Prabhu Ganesan, and Manju Warrier. 
Kalyan is the first jewellery brand ever in Qatar to hit the market with seven showrooms on a single day. It reflects our confidence in Qatari economy, T S Kalyanaraman, Chairman & Managing Director, Kalyan Jewellers stated yesterday.

This is a sophisticated market and our objective is to provide a wide range of designs that will appeal to even the most discerning jewellery connoisseurs. There has been a steady rise in the demand for exquisite precious jewellery across West Asia as a whole and we have ambitious plans for consolidating our position in Qatar.”

The showrooms, curated in close partnership with designers and stylists will be offering an exquisite and extensive collection of jewellery, with stunning designs. The showrooms will have dedicated sections featuring Kalyan’s most popular house brands such as Ameera - exclusive Arabic wedding jewellery, Mudhra - handcrafted antique jewellery, Nimah - authentic heritage Jewellery, Anokhi – uncut diamonds, Apoorva – diamonds for special occasions, Antara – wedding diamonds and Hera – daily wear diamonds and Rang – precious stones jewellery. Bespoke collections such as Turkish, Antique and Omega will also be available in the showrooms.
