Doha: Minister of Sports and Youth H E Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali, inaugurated, today, Al Majd Girls Center in Al Shamal, as part of the Ministry's plan to open centers for youth and girls in many regions of the country.
His Excellency toured the center, where he was briefed on the facilities, sections, activities and programs offered by the Center.
The Director of Youth Affairs Department at the Ministry of Sports and Youth Maha Al Rumaihi, said that the opening of a special center for girls in Al Shamal comes in support of the Ministry's goals and competencies aimed at taking care of all youth groups and reaching young people in all parts of the country, by providing a safe and advanced environment at a level worthy of girls in the State of Qatar.
For her part, the Director of Al Majd Girls Center Haya Al-Kubaisi, said that the center seeks to inculcate positive values that fit the culture of Qatari society, develop the skills and capabilities of girls, develop their talents and invest in their energies, in addition to meeting the communitys needs by providing qualitative programs, activities and initiatives, to build healthy personalities with conscious thought and authentic religious and social values.
