DOHA: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 110.83 points, or 0.98 percent, on Monday when it closed at 11,465.35 points.
The market capitalization increased by QR5.12bn to QR604.47bn from QR599.35bn registered on Sunday, reports QNA.
The daily turnover decreased to QR174.85m with a volume of 4,336,845 shares from 3,080 transactions compared with QR180.56 with a volume of 3,848,462 shares from 2,651 transactions on Sunday.
Barring transport index, down 0.28 percent, indices of all sectors ended in the green today.
Real estate index advanced the most, up 2.20 percent to 2,670.03 points.
Shares of 41 companies changed hands today from the 43 listed on QSE. From these 29 gained, seven dropped and five remained unchanged.
