Doha: Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani yesterday hosted a luncheon banquet at the Emiri Diwan in honour of the football team and technical and administrative organs of Lekhwiya Sports Club — the champions of H H the Emir’s Football Cup — Al Sadd Sport Club, the runners-up and representatives of tournament sponsors and sports and media personalities.
The Emir’s Special Representative H H Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani and H E Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of Qatar Olympic Committee, were also present.
