Doha: Ooredoo announced yesterday it was named the Official Telecom Partner of Asian Town Sports Carnival, an event organised by Qatar Tourism as part of it’s ‘Feel Eid in Qatar’ campaign.
From April 22-24, visitors to Asian Town will be able to enjoy a wide range of sporting events as part of the carnival, which features nine different sports-themed activities.
The activities include basketball, air hockey, speed kick, target shot, sub soccer, football, cricket, carnival games, and inflate sprint. The carnival also features live entertainment and food.
Sabah Rabiah Al Kuwari, Director PR at Ooredoo Qatar, said: “Ooredoo is proud to support this initiative, as it aligns with our commitment to bring communities together through sports. We believe that sports have the power to unite people from all walks of life and promote healthy lifestyles.”
