Renji K Jacob, on a brief visit to Birla Public School (BPS), Doha gave its football enthusiasts an hour long lesson on the art of soccer at its playing field in Abu Hamour. He interacted with the students and shared his views on how to become a great football player. He also imparted the students certain skills and manoeuvres.
Renji K Jacob is a football coach of national fame and a heart throb among Kerala’s football fraternity.
He was the chief selector of the Kerala team for the National inter-state football championship - Santosh Trophy. Ranji is currently the Kerala Football Association secretary and has been very active on coaching front.
He was received at the school by senior school officials. Later a reception was hosted in his honour in which Rappai, Chairman, and Lukose Chacko, Vice-Chairman, of the school Board of Directors and A K Srivastava, Principal, took part.The Peninsula
