Malarvadi Little Scholar 2nd stage results announced

Doha: The results of the second stage of Malarvadi Little Scholar have been announced recently. 

Out of hundreds of children in high school category, Faheem Muhammed Basheer (Shantiniketan Indian School) and Baris Hussian Kannanjeri (DPS -MIS), upper primary category: Faheem Muhammed Shabeer (Birla Public School), lower primary: Shahm Sahran (Birla Public School) will represent Qatar for in the Grand Finale.

A total of 30 children from each category (high school, upper primary, lower primary) worldwide will participate in the Finale. Over 200,000 children and their families participated in the first selection round.

Toppers of first-round competitions participated in the 2nd round. Over 1,000 children and their families attended the competition from Qatar. 

Center for Indian Community (CIC) President, who is also chief patron of Little Scholar Organising committee Abdul Rahiman K.T. and Chairman Mustaq K.H, congratulated the competitions' winners and participants. 

Second and third place winners from Qatar are LP category second position Alin Abdul Rahman (SIS), Yosus Islam (Rajagiri), Ziya Fathima (Spring Feild). Third position winners were Aamin Hassan (MES), Adhn Zainab (Rajagiri) Haniya Fathima (MES) & Riha Fathima. In the UP category, the second position went to Laima Muslihudheen (SIS) & Nasreen Najeem (Birla), while Amna Ashraf (Ideal) finished third.

In the HS category, the second position winners were Adeem Shihabudheen (MES), Afeefa Jabeen (Ideal), Afnnan (DM), Insaf Ahsan (SIS), Irfan Ahmed (SIS), and Swalih Subul. Third position winners include Faheem Ahmed (SIS), Fidah Shiyas (Birla), Hamdan Yousuf (Ideal), Mehrin Najeem (Birla), Nabeel Ahmed (SIS), Nadia Fazal Mohammed (MES), and Suha Fathima.

The program's general convener said that all first three position winners in the second round from Qatar would be honoured with prizes in a special function. The Grand Finale date will be announced soon.
