ANKARA: Turkey does not plan to extend temporary tax cuts beyond white goods, furniture and housing, Finance Minister Naci Agbal said on Wednesday, adding that he expected no tax increase this year.

Agbal said earlier this month that the government would remove a special consumption tax on white goods for three months, in a bid to support domestic demand.

The minister was speaking to broadcaster NTV in an interview on Wednesday.
