Manama: Qatar handball team will face on Tuesday Kuwait in the semi-finals of the 21st Asian Men's Handball Championship. The event is being held in Bahrain until Jan. 25, and qualifies for the World Championship in Croatia, Denmark and Norway in 2025.
Qatar is taking part in the World Championship for the tenth time in its history, and it is seeking to win tomorrow's match in order to reach the final match in its quest to maintain the continental title that it won in the last five editions 2014, 2016, 2018, 2020 and 2022.
Qatar qualified for semi-finals after topping Group A and achieving a 25/21 win over the UAE, a 27/23 victory over Iran and a 28/28 draw with Japan.
The semi-finals' second match will be played by Bahrain and Japan.
