Sheikh Thani bin Abdullah Foundation for Humanitarian Services (RAF) has dispatched fresh aid to Syria to help the internally displaced people fighting for survival.
The aid includes 1,600 food baskets with items enough for 10,000 people for three months. The displaced people sheltering in Dera and Qunaitara of Hawran area, southwestern Syria, benefitted from the project.
It is part of the projects being implemented by RAF within a massive campaign to provide humanitarian aid to Syrian and Iraqi refugees and the displaced.
The aid project was implemented in collaboration with Ahl Hawran organization, RAF’s local partner in Syria. The organization conducted a survey to assess the needs of displaced families.
Priority was given to the weaker sections of the community like orphans and widows and other poor people.
