Several parts of Doha, areas in the North of the country and the central region witnessed drizzles yesterday. With scattered clouds over the country, the weather bureau expects light rains to continue until early tomorrow.
The weather bureau has issued warnings of poor horizontal visibility at places at first with misty weather for today. The department also warns of strong winds tomorrow, which are expected to reach 25 knots at places.
Today, the weather will be hazy to misty at places. The sky will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times with a chance of scattered rain at places. The visibility could go down to 2 km at places at first inland, but the air would clear as the day progresses and improve visibility to four to eight km.
The north-easterly to south-easterly wind will be moving at speeds of three to 12 knots inshore and 15 knots offshore. Day temperatures have been forecast at between 20 and 23 degrees today. In Doha, it will be 23 degrees, the maximum, and 18 degree Celsius minimum.
The mercury at night will drop to 18 and 13 degrees Celsius. In Doha, the minimum temperature expected is 18 degrees, said the Met Office forecast.
