Focus Qatar, a socio cultural youth wing in Qatar, is conducting a health awareness campaign titled “Health in 4 Dimensions (H4D)” in association with Supreme Council of Health, Qatar. Ooredoo and Malabar Gold and Diamonds are the sponsors of the H4D campaign activities. Dr Salah Abdulla Alyafe, Head of Health Education, Supreme council of Health, will inaugurate the H4D campaign on Friday at Markaz Dwawa, Madeenath Khaleefa.
The campaign aims at creating awareness among the individual to change the perspective on health and to live accordingly. The organisers explained that “To attain a complete physical, mental and social wellbeing as stipulated by WHO, one must perceive health as a resource for life and maintaining one’s health shall be perceived as a collective responsibility of the society. We call this aspect as the 4th Dimension, which is referred to as the ‘spiritual aspect of health’. ‘CSR activities are important part of our organisation and we are happy to be part of focusQATAR’s campaign Health in 4 Dimensions’ said Santhosh T V, Regional head of Malabar Gold & Diamonds.
Campaign activities include Free Health Camp for ‘Early detection of renal diseases’ in 3 different private clinics in Qatar, visits to the labour camps for health screening and checkup for proteinuria and Public talks and seminars. Al Safa Poly Clinic Doha, Aster Medical Center in industrial area and Lifeline Medical centre Al Khore will be the host for early detection renal disease camp. The campaign will be concluded with a public programme on February 21 at Qatar Sports Club.
Special programme committee was formed for the functioning of the campaign.
