Concorde Hotel Doha celebrated its second anniversary achieving strong growth since its launch in the Qatari market.
Speaking at a press conference, Mashhoor Al Rifayi, General Manager of Concorde Hotel Doha, expressed his great happiness at the results achieved throughout the previous two years. He said Concorde is constantly preparing plans and programmes to upgrade its services to meet the high expectations of its guests.
He added that the Family Day organised by the hotel every Friday has witnessed huge success. The programme focuses on providing various entertainment activities for children through games and other activities such as face painting. Guests at the hotel could also enjoy its swimming pool throughout the Family Day.
Al Rifayi said that Concorde has a special food menu for diabetic patients, available all year round to ensure the wellbeing and health of its customers, whether local guests or those from abroad. In connection with this, Concorde has also prepared a study on diabetic patients in cooperation with a hospital in Qatar.
Al Rifayi anticipates Concorde would achieve an annual growth of 10 percent in 2014 compared last year. He pointed out that business tourism constitute 70 percent of the hotel operations, and family tourism 20 percent. He further expressed optimism that the hotel would attain strong results during the Spring Holidays with visitors from GCC countries.
Concorde has 210 rooms and suites and a swimming pool. It is a five star hotel with a boutique and two restaurants. The Peninsula
