Cricket: Qatar women’s team to compete in ACC event

Qatar Cricket Assocation (QCA) women’s squad along with QCA officials pose for a picture. The squad includes Sajida Bibi (captain), Rizpha Bano (vice-captain), Tasmeen Gul, Huda Malik, Aisha Rehman, Khadija Imtiaz, Shareen Nawab, Sadia Tahir, Samanthi, Akanksha Bhatkar, Santhiya Kandaraja, Aalia Chughle, Aysha Mohammad, Hiral Agarwal and Anuji Nettiarachchi. Qatar will compete in the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) competition in Thailand. Qatar are in Group B along with China, Singapore, Kuwait, Iran and the hosts Thailand. Qatar will play their first match against Thailand tomorrow. Group A consists of Hong Kong, Nepal, Malaysia and Bhutan. The final of the competition will be held on January 31.
