Doha, Qatar: The first edition of the Doha International Music and Dance Festival (Doha Tattoo) concluded at Katara Cultural Village, under the patronage of Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya), HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, and in the presence of Minister of State for Interior Affairs HE Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammed Al-Thani, and Federal Minister of the Interior of the Federal Republic of Germany HE Alexander Dobrindt, along with several senior officers and officials.

The participating military bands presented dazzling performances that were well-received by the audience. Bands from Qatar participated alongside bands from several brotherly and friendly nations.
The Qatari bands included those from the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior, the Amiri Guard, and the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya). Bands from the Sultanate of Oman, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Republic of Turkiye, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America also participated.
The performances were inspired by the traditions of international "Tattoo" festivals, celebrating rhythm, culture and unity, in an atmosphere that reflected the spirit of cultural exchange and the diversity of experiences, within artistic panels of an organized military nature.
