Kyiv: Twelve people were injured in a Russian bombing of the city of Voznesensk, which is close to a nuclear plant in southern Ukraine.
According to preliminary information, the Ukrainian authorities said that 12 people, including three children, were injured due to the Russian bombing, accusing Moscow of practicing "nuclear terrorism."
The bombing targeted a residential building and a number of houses in Voznesensk, which has a population of about 30,000, according to the State Emergency Service.
Voznesensk is located about twenty kilometers from a Ukrainian nuclear power plant and 70 kilometers from Mykolaiv.
The Ukrainian army confirmed that four Russian cruise missiles were shot down near the city of Dnipro, which were launched across the Black Sea, by Russian air defense system S-300.
