Media Plus in association with Anti- Smoking Society Qatar organised a seminar in connection with World Humanitarian Day of United Nations.
Inaugurating the seminar, Nabeel Ibrahim Khan, a former volunteer of United Nations, called on the community to work for the welfare and peaceful coexistence of society. “The world we live in is faced with a number of challenges and we have to overcome all issues with an mind. Service to the humanity should be our prime aim.”
Indian Media Forum President Raees Ahmed, Scholars International School Chairman Dr Wandor Aboobacker, CIGI Qatar chapter President Dr M P Shafi Haji, Voice of Kerala Ahlan Doha Programme Director Yatheendran, Vice President of Qatar Indian Islahi Centre Muneer Mankada, community activist K V Abdulla Kutty, MD of Quick Print Centre, Usman Muhammed, and Saudi group General Manager Dawood also spoke.
Media Plus CEO Amanulla Vadakkangara conducted the event. Dr M P Shafi Haji was honoured in appreciation of his community services in Qatar and back home over the last five decades
