Doha: UAE Ambassador to Qatar Saleh bin Mohammed Al Ameri said that the visit of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Qatar and his meeting with Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani reflects the depth of brotherly ties that bind the two countries.
He said the visit will have a positive impact on bilateral relations as well as inter-Gulf relations.
Al Amei said that Qatar-UAE ties are historical and popular and are getting deeper and stronger day after day.
These relations have the advantage of direct communication between the two leaderships and officials at the highest levels, he said, adding that communication between Qatar and the UAE are continuous for exchanging of views on the latest Gulf, Arab, regional and international developments.
Al Ameri added that the formation of the joint higher committee for cooperation between the two countries, which held its last meeting in Doha in May, during which several agreements and memoranda of understanding were signed reflected the keenness and seriousness of both sides to develop and deepen cooperation and mutual understanding as well as plan to reach new horizons in cooperation.
It also affirms keenness to advance bilateral relations to the level of shared political will of the Emir and President of the UAE H H Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan towards consecration of cooperation to meet the aspirations of their brotherly peoples.
