Graffiti artworks depicting a woman without face covering (top) and in batoola — a traditional face mask worn by women in the region. The varying images were among a series of paintings on a broken wall at an empty lot along Salwa road created by Qatari artist Mubarak Al Malik, one of the few artists in the country who displays versatility in several mediums including fine art, sculpture and graffiti art focusing on traditional Arab symbols.
