The investiture ceremony and the first activity of Voice Out, the literary club of Ideal Indian School, were conducted recently. Principal Syed Shoukath Ali emphasised the need to improve English language skills to be effective communicators. He also said that the use of SMS language was damaging the English language. The Head of English Department, Shyla Jose, presented a round-up of activities held in 2012-2013. A workshop on public speaking was conducted by Shrikala Kashyup, producer at Qatar Foundation Radio.
