Total E&P Qatar signed an agreement with the French Institute yesterday, to promote a new French cultural project which will be held at Qatar National Theatre on May 23 and 24.
Total will be sponsoring The Lady from Maxim’s, a classic French play which will run on both days at 8pm, in partnership with the French institute, the ‘Théâtre de l’Oiseau-Tonnerre’ and the Qatar Ministry of Culture and Heritage. Dominique Gueudet, Vice President Communications and Institutional Relations, Total E&P Qatar, expressed his pride over Total’s contribution to the celebration of French culture in Qatar. “Total takes great pleasure to promote and share French culture with other communities in Qatar. La Dame de chez Maxim has long been a very successful and celebrated play, and we look forward to expanding the creativity that this theatre inspires to a wider audience.”
Regis Dantaux, Director of the French Institute, commented: “It is a great pleasure for the French institute to have once again the support of Total to promote French culture in Qatar and bring this very entertaining classic play to the francophone audience of Doha.
