A students press club has opened at Bhavan’s Public School with the objective of identifying and encouraging budding journalists. Priyadarshin J of Std VIII and Ayesha Sajid of Std IX were selected as president and secretary, respectively, of the Press Club. A mock press meet competition was organised under the auspices of the Press Club. The programme was inaugurated by Baburaj, General Secretary, Bhavan’s Public School. Dr G Manulal, Principal, Bhavan’s Public School, informed those present that on the second Thursday of every month a press conference will be organised on a mock theme to give more exposure to the student reporters.
