Beach Handball: Asian champions Qatar return home

The newly crowned Asian beach handball champions Qatar received a rousing welcome upon their arrival at the Hamad International Airport in Doha, yesterday.

Qatar on Sunday regained the Asian Men’s Beach Handball title – their sixth overall crown - after defeating Oman 18-14, 16-12 in the final in Bali, Indonesia.

By qualifying for the final in Bali, Qatar also booked a berth in the 2024 World Handball Championship.
