In line with its commitment to protecting the marine environment around Qatar Petroleum’s plants and facilities, the Gas Operations Divers Club — along with their colleagues and fellow divers from the QP Divers Club in Doha — recently carried out a seabed clean-up activity in Mesaieed Industrial City.
The clean-up campaign was held around the NGL Jetty and Multi-Product Berth Area of Mesaieed Port. The teams were able to remove a large volume of rubbish and debris, including car tires, empty plastic bottles, tin cans and a discarded tent from the seabed.
