Pakistan Education Centre recently held its annual Sports Day. Nargis Raza Otho, Principal, PEC, along with the Vice Principals of respective wings welcomed the Chief Guest Summar Javed, First Secretary at Pakistan Embassy.
The ecstatic day began with the torch lighting ceremony and ‘Walk Past’ by students. The oath taking ceremony by the participating athletes marked the opening of the sports day.
The synchronised welcome song by KG Wing and co-ordinated drills by Junior Wing added a lot of colour to the morning.
The events included zigzag relay race, jump and relay race and wheel barrow race. There were Tae Kwan Do and gymnastic display by students. Ring race, flag race and obstacle events were also held for the KG Wing. Female staff members took part in musical chair and Boys Wing staff members competed in tug of war.
The chief guest gave away medals, trophies, prizes and certificates to the winners.The Peninsula
