MES Indian School recently marked World Hindi Day with a variety of cultural programmes and presentations. As many as 150 students from all sections presented programmes on the occasion. The heads of sections and heads of the Hindi departments in the sections attended the event. The head of academic inspection congratulated the students on their colourful performance. In his address, Principal Sasidharan A P said: “Safeguarding the interests of our regional languages and mother tongue, we should jointly strive to give pride of place to Hindi as a global language.”
