Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran H E Hossein Amir-Abdollahian meeting with Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs H E Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, yesterday.
Tehran: Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran H E Hossein Amir-Abdollahian met Monday with Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs H E Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi on the sidelines of the third Tehran Dialogue Forum held in the Iranian capital, Tehran.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations between the two countries and discussed developments in the nuclear agreement talks and several regional and international issues.
The Assistant Foreign Minister thanked the Iranian Foreign Minister for inviting Qatar to the forum and congratulated Iran on the success of the third edition of the forum.
For his part, the Iranian Foreign Minister congratulated Qatar for its success in organizing the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. Also, His Excellency thanked Qatar for providing full care to the citizens of Iran, including fans and players, during the tournament.
Meanwhile, Qatar participated in the Third Tehran Dialogue Forum (TDF 2022), which kicked off yesterday in Iranian capital of Tehran.
Qatar was represented in the forum by Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs H E Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi.
In a speech before the forum, he affirmed Qatar is not separated from this region and its important issues, pointing out that Qatar fully believes that dialogue is the most appropriate way to resolve international disputes and strengthen relations between countries to achieve international stability and security.
