Doha: Qatar Fuel Additives Company Limited (Qafac) will sponsor Aspire4Sports event as part of its commitment to the Qatari community through a programme of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and to encourage sports activities among locals of all ages.
“At Qatar Fuel Additives Company, we encourage social and sports activities in Qatar through our support for the Qatari Youth and associations. Qafac contributes to snooker, billiards, cricket, basketball, badminton and football,” said Nasser Jeham Al Kuwari General Manager of Qafac.
“We also participate in local and international rally racing using our own rally car driven by Abdullah Al Kuwari, who is supported by our company. Abdullah Al Kuwari has achieved a series of victories in previous rally races and he aspires to achieve more. We are delighted to encourage this ambition as part of our continued commitment to sports and athletes in the state of Qatar,” Al Kuwari said.

Abdullah Al Kuwari first participated in the Qatar rally in 2000 and took his passion for driving from his father who was the first Qatari rally driver in 1974, and the first Qatari to win the National Rally in 1974.
Qafac was established as a Qatari joint stock company to build, own and operate facilities at Mesaieed industrial city in Qatar for the production of Methanol and Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (MTBE) for sale to customers worldwide. QAFAC plant produces 983,330 TPA of Methanol and 610,000 TPA of MTBE.
