MES organises panel discussion for senior girls

Doha: The senior students of the Girls’ Section at MES Indian School organised a panel discussion on the topic “The World and the Pandemic COVID-19: During and After” over the virtual platform on Saturday.

A total of 8 panellists from Grades XI and XII spoke eloquently about the present scenario caused by the pandemic and its impact on world economy.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest of the programme, Hameeda Kadar, MES Indian School Principal congratulated the students and appreciated their efforts during the tough times of the COVID-19 pandemic. She hoped that the adverse impact of the pandemic will give way to the bright and promising turn of events in the days to come.

The Guest of Honour, Annamma Shammy VicePrincipal and Head of Girls’ Section also congratulated the participants and praised them for their enthusiastic performance. The programme commenced with the recitation of prayer by Amna.

The panellists spoke fervently on the changes wrought by the outbreak of the pandemic and how the world has struggled hard to contain the same by adapting lockdown and rigorous social distancing lifestyles tried. They also discussed the topic on strengthening family ties and the surmounting challenges faced in the field of education as a result of closure of educational institutes. They were optimistic about the reconstruction of the world economy when the pandemic gets over.
