UK and Qatar bilateral relationship remains strong and British businesses should utilise opportunities in Qatar , according to the British Ambassador to Qatar, Ajay Sharma.
He was recently addressing an event organised by Qatar British Business Forum (QBBF), organised to encourage businesses to meet, collaborate and share ideas on supporting trade between Qatar and UK.
“It was an opportunity to reassure businesses that the UK-Qatar relationship remains as strong as ever, and that British businesses should continue to make the most of the opportunities in Qatar,” said Sharma.
“Qatar and the UK share a long history, and the British community in Qatar is the largest European community living and working in Qatar with many members of the community living in Qatar for more than twenty years. Therefore, it is in the community’s interest to safeguard their business interest and increase the cooperation between the two countries to try and overcome the difficulties created by the unjust action of the few regional countries,” said Emad Turkman MBE, Chairman of QBBF.
