Doha: Retaj Hotels & Hospitality has signed an agreement to manage a new hotel in Doha — Retaj Inn Msheireb — in Msheireb featuring 110 guest rooms and suites equipped with all facilities and amenities to ensure comfort of guests living in Doha or travelling to Qatar for business or leisure. The new hotel is expected to open in November.
The contract was signed between Dr. Mohammed bin Johar Al Mohammad, Vice-Chairman and Managing Director, Retaj Group; and Saeed bin Zayed Al Khayarin at Retaj Al Rayyan Hotel, attended by Retaj management.
Al Khayarin expressed happiness with this cooperation: We are encouraged by Retaj Hotels experience and good reputation in hotel management to conclude the contract and hope it will be the beginning of more cooperation.
Dr. Al Mohammad said the group plans to expand investments in and outside Qatar, especially in the hotel and hospitality sector, driven by the vision and mission of the group that focuses on investing in family hospitality and tourism sector which take into considerations particularities of the Gulf society and the Arab and Islamic societies.
He said the deal is a result of plans, visions and policies formulated by Retaj Board of Directors, which achieved diversified investments in domestic and foreign markets in Turkey, Comoros Islands, Saudi Arabia and Sudan, and aims to intensify investments after the completion of feasibility studies for projects that suit the company’s future vision.
