Shops selling vegetables and fruits remain deserted at the Kilo Market today after the authorities removed all the stock from these shops in the aftermath of the major fire which gutted many shops in the market on Sunday. According to shopkeepers, they were asked to empty the shops and hose it down with water. Truckloads of vegetables and fruits were removed from the market last night and this morning.
