QC provides food parcels in Aleppo

DOHA: Qatar Charity  (QC) distributed 11,000 food parcels in Aleppo City and countryside for the Syrian refugees in Jordan and Lebanon to alleviate their suffering in Syria and neighbouring countries during Ramadan. In a statement,  Mohammed Rashid Al Kaabi, Director, Relief Management, QC said 6000 Syrian families in Jordan and Lebanon have benefited and 5,000 families are expected to benefit in Aleppo. The distribution in Aleppo and its countryside is part of the food supply projects undertaken by QC after the recent events in Aleppo, he said, adding that each package contains 37kg  of basic foodstuffs.
