Qatar interested to operate Egypt's transport system in Cairo

Doha, Qatar: Qatar-based urban transport company has expressed its interest to manage and operate the Cairo Ring Road Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project. 

This was stated by Egypt Today in a recent report where it said that this was one of the project discussed as part of the bilateral cooperation between the two countries. 

Media reports did not reveal the name of the transport company. 

One of Egypt's most important sustainable mass transit projects, the BRT will operate on Ring Road around Greater Cairo by extending the reach of metro, bus and paratransit systems.
