As part of its 2013 Safety Week celebrations, Qatar Readymix Group held its annual Road Transport Safety Forum at the Raddison Blu Hotel, Doha. Among the guest speakers this year were representatives from the Japanese Gas Corporation, Barzan Onshore Project in Ras Laffan, and Qatar Foundation, who spoke about their welfare initiatives related to transporting people. The government advisor to the Traffic Department also spoke on the occasion. Andy Paylor, general manager of Readymix Qatar Group, said: “We will continue to work with our contractors, customers, suppliers and stakeholders when it comes to reducing road traffic risk.
