Officials at a meeting on revising and updating the plan related to supporting nuclear security.
Under the patronage of Minister of Municipality and Environment H E Mohamed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi, the Ministry organised a meeting related to revising and updating the plan related to supporting nuclear security.
The three-day meeting started yesterday and was organised by the Ministry in collaboration with International Atomic Energy Agency.
A number of government and non-governmental entities like Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Health, Permanent Emergency Committee, Hamad Medical Corporation, National Committee on Arms Embargo and Qatar Petroleum also participated in the meeting.
“The aim of this meeting is to revise and update the plan related to nuclear security and also to mark all requirements needed to face nuclear security challenges,” Assistant Undersecretary for Environmental Affairs at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment, said.
