The Gulf English School’s annual Spring Carnival – one of the highlight’s of the international school’s calendar – witnessed hundreds of pupils, staff and parents.
Organised by GES primary teachers, the not-for-profit event aims to strengthen the school spirit and is open to all. Children enjoyed bouncy castles, inflatable slides, traditional games such as knock-down-the-cans, soak-the-teacher and a fancy dress parade, as well as face painting, nail decoration and Henna. There were also numerous refreshment stalls.
Carnival organizer Oriel Townsend said: “This year’s Carnival was one of our best ever, with our pupils, their families and guests enjoying a great, fun day out. The smiles on the faces of the children really said it all. At GES we strive to create a cohesive and strong community spirit, which the Spring Carnival is a great example of.The Peninsula
