DOHA: DPS-Modern Indian School organised picnics for classes VI to VIII recently. It is the most awaited day in any school calendar as it refreshes the tired nerves. This year, the destination was Al Bidda Park, one of the largest parks in Doha, known for its lush green fields, enchanting fountains and well-developed play areas, said a statement.
The students were extremely excited as they boarded the buses and utilised every moment to energise their mind, body and soul. On reaching the allotted spots, the children enthusiastically explored the alluring beauty and bounties of nature.
The nature walk helped them to observe different types of plants all around  and  motivated them to take care of their environment  It was a magnificent opportunity for all the children to strengthen the feeling of oneness and the value of sharing and caring. The photograph session was the most joyful moment for all. Altogether, it was a well spent time and the children went back home with a broad smile, rejuvenated spirits and fond memories.
