Minister of Transport H E Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti met with Minister of Digital Development and Transportation of Azerbaijan H E Rashad Nabiyev, who is visiting Qatar to attend the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 events.
The two ministers reviewed Qatar-Azerbaijan cooperation and ties in transportation, commercial harbours, civil aviation, and ways to develop them. Nabiyev congratulated Qatar on successful hosting of the tournament.
The Minister of Transport also met with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Council President H E Salvatore Sciacchitano, who is also visiting Qatar for the FIFA World Cup.
They reviewed ways of enhancing Qatar-ICAO relations in civil aviation. Sciacchitano also congratulated Qatar on successful hosting of the World Cup. Both meetings were held in the Ministry’s offices yesterday.
