Doha: Qatar yesterday strongly condemned and denounced the two bombings that targeted the police headquarters in the eastern Turkish cites of Elazig and Van, resulting in 14 deaths and injuring 220.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said Qatar strongly condemns the heinous criminal acts aimed at destabilising security and stability, and affirms its solidarity with the brotherly Turkey in all actions and measures it takes to counter criminal acts and maintain its security and stability.
It reiterated Qatar’s firm stance that rejects violence and terrorism in all their forms and manifestations and whatever motives and causes. It extended condolences to the Turkish government, people and the families of the victims and wished the injured a speedy recovery, reports QNA.
