Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held a telephone conversation with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the sisterly Republic of Turkey, to congratulate him on the occasion of the Democracy and National Unity Day.
During the phone call, they also reviewed the close relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them, as well as the situation in Istanbul city after the heavy rain and floods. The Emir expressed the Qatar’s readiness to provide all necessary assistance in the event of any damage as a result floods.
