DOHA: Fire broke out at four sites in the Industrial Area and Al Shafi Street in Al Rayyan yesterday. The second day of Eid Al Fitr also witnessed 12 road accidents across the country.
Rescue teams from the Ministry of Interior and Civil Defence rushed to the accident spots. No causalities were reported in the road mishaps and fire incidents. Details of damage in fire cases have also not been assessed, Al Sharq reports
The ministry urged motorists and other road users to comply with traffic rules and regulations. It also urged motorists to refrain from using mobile phones while driving.
As Eid celebrations are taking place across the country, motorists should be cautious about the possibilities of frequent crossing of roads by pedestrians, including children, the ministry added.
