Changes to skilled occupation list not applicable to those who apply for visa before July 1.

Doha: The government of Australia has prepared a new skilled occupation list (SOL), which will come into effect from July 1.
According to World Wide Immigration Consultancy Services (WWICS), Qatar’s leading international immigrant consultants, there has been several changes to the list.
WWICS Regional Manager Anwar Karim spoke about implications the new list can have on people looking forward to settling down in Australia.
“An aspiring immigrant planning to apply for graduate work stream visa, family sponsored or independent point tested visa, on or after July 1, should consider the new list,” he said.
However, changes to SOL will not be applicable to those who applied for visa before July 1.
“Australia is a sought-after destination for foreign skilled workers and professionals. The process of settling down there has become hassle-free due to the fast-track SkillSelect programme,” he added.
With the release of the new list, there is a fair chance for immigration for all those working in the field of medical and healthcare sectors, engineers, accountants and financial professionals and those engaged in IT and human resource, among others.
Dental therapist, technician, prosthetics and hygienist; occupational health and safety adviser; environmental health officer; metallurgist; and petroleum and mining engineering are some of the occupations that have been given impetus.
WWICS provides complete assistance through efficient strategies and transparent dealings to help realise the dream of relocating aspiring immigrants to their dreamland.
