‘Grandeur’, the annual magazine of DPS-MIS, was released recently in a ceremony at the school auditorium. The chief guest on the occasion was Chhaya Arora, patron of the Indian Women’s Association and wife of Indian Ambassador Sanjiv Arora. Ghazal maestro Pankaj Udhas was the guest of honour. Members of the school’s management — Hassan Chougule, Azim Abbas, Harish Kanjani and Shafeeq — were also present. Principal Asna Nafees welcomed the gathering. Chougule thanked the editorial team for coming out with a magazine worth cherishing. The magazine’s editor, Marie Luthra, and her team were called up on to the stage to acknowledge their hard work. Pankaj Udhas appreciated the efforts of the school management and sang two lines from his song ‘Chitti aayi he’. The Science Exhibition Newsletter was also released on the occasion. Lakshmi Shoba, coordinator of the General Science Department, was congratulated on her effort in organising the Science Exhibition – Quest successfully.
