Doha, Qatar: The Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center organised a lecture on bullying at Beta Cambridge School, attended by 56 students.

The initiative aims to instil virtuous values among non-Arabic-speaking students of various nationalities, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the administrations of the schools concerned.

Dr. Saleh bin Ali Al-Marri explained that the Center’s focus on organising lectures in schools is part of its broader interest in non-Arabic-speaking students, with the aim of strengthening and developing their behavioural and moral values. This, in turn, positively reflects on their conduct, attitudes, academic achievement, and educational excellence.

The lecture addressed the issue of bullying, its harmful effects, and ways to confront it. It also included general guidance on overcoming bullying, how individuals can train themselves to adopt proper behaviour, and the impact of such behaviour on both personal and public life. Students raised a number of questions on the topic and showed strong engagement with the lecture.

The Center has been organising such lectures since the beginning of 2025, benefiting thousands of students. These initiatives have successfully reached various schools and have been met with wide appreciation and strong cooperation from foreign schools operating in the country.
